Solicitor – Clinical Negligence
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000
A Clinical Negligence Solicitor is required to join a top 500 legal firm. This highly rated clinical risk team has a proven track record in defending high value obstetrics, paediatrics and neurosurgical claims. Acting for the NHS Local Authority and the Medical Defence Union as well as private insurers in the health market.
You will be required to handle clinical negligence claims across all areas including cerebral palsy, oncology, paediatrics and plastic surgery
Responsibilities:
This role requires you to handle a caseload of defendant clinical negligence work on behalf of the NHS Local Authority and Medical Defence Union.
Conducting face to face negotiations and mediation of claims as well as preparing counter schedules in high value claims
Skills:
1 – 3 years post qualified defendant clinical risk solicitor
Experience of handling high value claims is required.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels whilst being commercially minded and results driven
