A great opportunity for a September 08 qualifier (or recently qualified solicitor) to join this premier practice.
Due to a high volume of work in this area, our client has a new vacancy for an NQ or recently qualified professional indemnity lawyer. You will be joining the highly regarded insurance team comprising of 4 partners and over 20 fee earners. You should ideally have completed a seat in insurance or professional indemnity or have recently qualified into this area. You will also need excellent academics at both A level and degree level and have trained with a leading city or regional firm.
You will be dealing with a range of work including dealing with claims on behalf of insurers, including architects, surveyors & valuers, D&C contractors, accountants, insurance brokers, IFAs, pensions trustees and lawyers. You will be running your own caseload as well as assisting partners and more experienced solicitors on larger, more complex claims. You will be exposed to clients from Day1 so it is essential that you a a good communicator and are client-facing. You will be working as part of an established team and there will be plenty of supervision and support both in the form of formal training sessions and also in terms of day to day supervision and support.
