Civil Litigation (Contract Team) Solicitor, FILEX
Location: Bristol
Salary: Competitive Market rate

We are looking for a Solicitor/ FILEX / Equivalent to work within our clients contract team which forms part of the civil litigation department. The candidate must be well organised with a practical approach to problem solving and capable of dealing with a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:

The department is divided into several specialised teams. Reporting to the
Contract team leader and then to the partner in charge of the department as appropriate, you will be running a fast and multi track contract litigation
Caseload covering areas such as building disputes (kitchens, driveways,
extensions etc), school related claims, holiday claims and larger consumer
disputes
Claims will be largely funded by legal expenses insurance and you will be acting mainly for private individuals

Skills:

Strong organisational skills;
Pragmatic approach to solving problems;
Client focused approach
Excellent communication skills
Ability and knowledge of working with a case management system
It is essential the successful candidate will have experience of handling
their own caseload, and will have between 0-4 years PQE.
Experience of dealing with insurance funded clients is desirable
Qualified Solicitor (LLB/ ILEX Route)
ILEX (Qualified to FILEX level) or Equivalent experience
