Are you an experienced Defendant EL/ PL specialist frustrated by a lack of career progression? Fantastic opportunity to enter a major force in insurance litigation at a Junior Equity Partner level.
Our clients business was founded on Employer's and Public liability work giving them over 35 years of experience in this field. They act for over 30 top major insurance organisations dealing with quality, high value matters.
You will be dealing with a mixed caseload of Public Liability and Employers Liability matters, working closely with 2-3 major insurance clients, providing technical file handling advice and marketing the services of the firm. As a Senior Solicitor you will focus on defending the more complex, higher value claims, including catastrophic injury.
The EL team work to implement strategy to cover all aspects of a claim, not just the financial considerations, including the impact on morale and industrial relations if there is a claims culture within an organisation.
They work at all levels of claims, from senior directors to shop floor workers, working closely with clients to ensure that resolution is reached in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
The PL team covers the full range from slips or trips on premises to more serious accidents where a member of the public is seriously or fatally injured.
You should be able to demonstrate technical excellence in EL/PL litigation, with at least 5 years experience. You should have a no-nonsense outlook, be approachable and committed to delivering a high quality and cost-effective service to clients.
