Are you an insolvency lawyer looking for a wider variety of work? This could be the perfect opportunity. Dealing with both personal and corporate insolvency work and a mix of contentious and non-contentious work you would be hard pushed to find a broader insolvency role. You should already have some post qualification experience in insolvency as you will be will working with minimum assistant and supervision. Work is likely to include personal insolvency advice and advice on IVAs, advising directors, advising insolvency practitioners on trading and validity of appointments, advice on restructuring and security issues, sales of business and assets and advice on fraud litigation and asset recovery. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a Solicitor who is ambitious and is looking to progress your career but feel that this is not an option at your current firm. If you are already a Licenced Insolvency Practitioner or have plans to qualify then this would be an advantage but is not essential.
