Job Description

BIRMINGHAM: this is a novel Paralegal position as it combines elements of both litigation and transactional work. In a further twist, you will also be dealing with both personal and corporate insolvencies, broadening your experience. If you are a Paralegal experienced in litigation (debt recovery, personal injury, ULR, etc) you will be of particular interest. As part of your workload you'll be arranging the sale of assets for individuals companies with financial difficulties, liaising with creditors and purchasers and be heavily involved in discussions with the appointed trustee in bankruptcy.

You will need to have a finely-tuned sense of commercial awareness for this role as the firm very much sees its lawyers as businesspeople who practice law, rather than lawyers with business nous. Upon joining this firm, your financial acumen will receive a further boost which will hold you in great stead in your legal career, whether here or elsewhere.
