IMMIGRATION HEAD OF DEPARTMENT - LSC LEVEL 2 - BEDFORDSHIRE
An exciting opportunity has arisen with rapidly expanding high street firm in Bedfordshire for an experienced and motivated Immigration Solicitor to head their Immigration department. The work involved is extremely of high quality and the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a sufficient range of knowledge to understand all types of business / commercial applications as well as private individual applications under the Immigration Rules and the EEA Regulations.
The successful candidate should have the following skills:-
- Ability to handle own caseload;
- Ability to attend attending clients and take instructions;
- Ability to provide advice;
- Ability to prepare applications both routine and complex within all immigration categories. This will include handling a broad range of applications such as entry clearance, extensions and variations of leave; Leave outside the rules applications, work permits, HSMP, settlement applications, preparing trial bundles, instructing counsel and other experts; attending conferences and representing clients before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.
