DUDLEY / STOURBRIDGE: manage a privately-funded caseload at this premier Black Country firm. The matrimonial practice has recently been buoyed by the addition of a Partner from a leading Birmingham city centre firm. He has been given a substantial budget to develop his own team and the salaries on offer are potentially the most lucrative in the market at the moment. He is looking to build a small team of Legal Executives to enable the firm to take on more high-value work.
Your remit will include disputes from divorce and financial settlement, separation and public / private Children's Act matters. A lot of the work comes by way of referral from other teams and even competing firms and it is seen as a 'rising star' of a department at this firm.
You will be encouraged and trained to conduct advocacy in chambers in all your own cases where appropriate and it's a leading chance to learn under an acknowledged leader in family and matrimonial law.
