Family Solicitor 4 Yrs + PQE
Cardiff, South Wales
Salary from £35,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
An opportunity exists to join a progressive, forward thinking and high profile firm in the heart of Cardiff.
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic family lawyer to join its established and well regarded family team, which deals with both private and publicly funded work. The successful applicant will have specific experience in matrimonial finance/ancilliary relief. This vacancy has arisen owing to a restructuring of the department, which is headed by a senior lawyer with over 20 years' experience in Family Law.
Commercial awareness with a commitment to building up the family practice is highly desirable, with the essential ability to generate good levels of fee income. The successful candidate will be the department's second in command and will often be required to provide cover for the head of department in his absence. Full paralegal and secretarial support will also be provided.
Supervision and management skills are highly desirable.
Appropriate panel membership an advantage but is not essential.
The firm operates from recently refurbished premises in the centre of Cardiff.
A competitive salary and other benefits are available to the right candidate.
