This high street practice in the North East requires a locum who is highly experienced in family law. The busy caseload is comprised of predominantly publicly funded work, although there are some privately funded cases. The successful individual will have significant experience, and be qualified as either a solicitor or a FILEX. It is essential that they are up to date with the recent changes to legal aid, and competent in handling their own caseload of these files. The vacancy has arisen due to a maternity leave, and an individual is required from January 2009 for a period of approximately 3 months.
