TAX & FINANCIAL PLANNING SOLICITOR - LONDON
Due to ongoing expansion, well respected London firm seeks Assistant Solicitor 5-8 years PQE for reputable Tax and Financial Planning Department. Work includes the provision of high level
tax advice, assisting with succession and tax planning and resolving related domestic and
jurisdictional challenges for high net worth individuals, trustees and other entities. Client base of both domestic and international wealthy families, landed estates & entrepreneurs.[There would be the additional opportunity to undertake an element of commercial tax work as part of the role if the candidate were interested in doing so.] Must have min 5 years PQE with mainstream private client experience, including tax planning for high net worth individuals and trustees and exposure to both domestic and international issues; experience gained in highly reputable City, West End or regional firm or by way of a professional services tax background; be an enthusiastic team player with the skills to share knowledge with and assist in supervising more junior team members and to work alongside the partners; excellent communication skills to be able to deal confidently and professionally with existing, highly valued clients;able to take the initiative and enjoy taking responsibility; be intellectually astute and have at least a 2.1 degree and ideally be a full STEP member or CTA qualified
