WHO?
This is a truly wonderful role in a very human firm most definately going places. A full service commercial law firm, they offer a very rounded and profitable private client service to their usually high net worth clients. They sit inside the Top 80 UK firms and are tipped to further move up the ranks after some impressive client wins and strong profitability. They are now seeking to hire a senior family lawyer with circa 10+ years experience to join in their success.
WHAT?
The family Law team actually sits as part of the wider litigation department and is headed up by two partners, there is also an Associate in the team. There is an increasingly busy workload in the department and definately scope to bring in your existing referral network and make the role your own.
The team have expertise in Children Matters, Civil Partnerships, Cohabitation, Collaborative Law, Divorce, Nullity and Judicial Separation, Domestic Violence, Financial Settlements on Relationship Breakdown Pre-nuptial, Pre-registration and Cohabitation Agreements. It's a fun and vibrant team and the work is often complex, challenging and rewarding.
This particular role will see the successful applicant dealing with a broad range of family law matters, dealing with high net worth clients and often ancillary relief issues. As part of your role it is expected you will actively partake in marketing and networking events building up your own reputation as well as promoting the services of the firm, its image and ethos. Ideally you will be an accredited member of Resolution with excellent experience of ancillary relief matters demonstrated by a strong background to date. Your experience of supervising or managing more junior members of the team will be a distinct advantage.
The role would suit an Associate looking for their next challenge as Senior Associate or a very senior lawyer who is not yet pushing for partnership. Though there are prospects for partnership, it is anticipated these are 2/3 years away.
