Family Solicitor

Our Client an award winning Central London Practice are looking to recruit a 2 + years PQE Family Lawyer who is confident in managing client relationships, workloads and priorities. Knowledge of Hague Convention child abduction proceedings and law is desirable, as well as the ability to \'think on your feet\'. There is a high level of responsibility from the outset working as a general assistant whilst being responsible for carrying a full/ proper caseload. Duties include amongst others, meeting with clients, attending court, instructing counsel, drafting pleadings, proofing witnesses, carrying out research, taking statements, liaising on a day-to-day basis with solicitors, experts and clients and many other client related activities. Work includes high and middle level ancillary relief, including work with an international aspect and children cases (residence, contact, leave to remove, child abduction etc.) Strong academics along with Family Law gained at a noted practice are prerequisites for this role.
