Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join an established medium sized practice in their thriving family team. The successful candidate will head their family team and act for clients in relation to:

• Financial matters including matrimonial property, spousal maintenance and pensions and family businesses within the context of divorce proceedings.
• Children Act proceedings including residence and contact arrangements, Parental Responsibility, Emergency Applications when a child has been snatched, Care Proceedings and Adoption.
• Emergency injunctions to prohibit violence and domestic abuse in the family home and Court Orders determining who should live in the family home following such incidents.
• Separation Agreements following the breakdown of the marriage.
• Co-habitation Agreements to provide clarity upon the intended agreement at the outset of living together as a couple to avoid dispute in the future should the relationship breakdown. We will also provide advice and representation to those people who do not have the benefit of a cohabitation agreement and need to pursue a claim through the judicial system.
• Civil Partnership and law relating to the breakdown of a civil partnership and division of assets following the breakdown of the civil partnership.

This role involves the candidate to have proven tracked skills in management and supervision. An excellent package await the successful candidate.
