A Legal Clerk is currently required to join a busy Family department at a successful Derby based law firm. Negotiable Salary.
The Client: Our client is an efficient and well recognised law firm which was established in the late 1980’s. With 8 offices spread throughout the East Midlands they have built up their reputation of being a forward thinking and progressing firm. Although they have been steadily increasing in size their priority is to remain a relaxed culture and ensure all staff are fully satisfied.
The Role: A Legal Clerk is required to help provide support to a friendly family department. Daily duties will include: Opening and closing files, archiving and retrieving files, preparing documents for Court, Photocopying, Faxing, filing, handling a small number of client queries, data input and sorting and distributing the post. Successful candidates will also be attending and advising clients in relation to Divorce, Ancillary Relief, Injunctions, Child Support, Welfare Benefits, Adoption and other related matters
Excellent communication and team playing skills are essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Friendly, positive and enthusiastic candidates are welcomed.
