Leading Devon law firm seeks an experienced Lawyer to join a specialist team based in Exeter. The role will be to provide maternity cover for a fixed term period of 6 months, ideally starting towards the end of October 2008. The role will involve private Divorce and Ancillary Relief work across a range of clients.
Our client is one of the fastest growing and successful UK law practices with offices in Exeter, Sidmouth and London. The Family team has an excellent reputation for handling Divorces and other family matters.
The firm are looking for an experienced Lawyer with at least 5 years PQE in advising on family issues, with the emphasis on advising clients in complex divorce cases. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience including Ancillary Relief in privately funded cases as well as the ability to draft related Divorce documentation and instruct and advise Counsel in Court.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· An understanding of the high standards of client care required for existing and potential clients
· Ability to manage a busy caseload and work within and assist other members in the team
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to deal confidently and professionally with existing highly valued clients
· Ability to achieve targets
