Family Partner / Partner Designate

Our client has one of the leading and largest Collaborative Family Law practices in the South West. The Family Team is well ranked by the legal directories and acts for a wide range of clients, advising them on all areas of their relationships, including high net worth financial settlements (often involving business ownership and pension settlements), children issues (including cases with an international element), divorce, separation co-habitee disputes, pre nuptial agreements, civil partnership and injunctions. All the Team’s lawyers are accredited members of Resolution, most are members of the Law Society Family & Children Panels and some are also trained family mediators.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Family Law practitioner to spearhead the development of a Family/Relationships practice in the firm’s Bristol office. The successful candidate – likely to be an existing partner or senior associate ready for the step up – will have the technical ability to offer high quality, practical, solutions-orientated advice to the firm’s clients, as well as the business development aptitude to lead the development of a Bristol based practice. For this reason, contacts and/or a following in the local market would be helpful, but these are not essential for a candidate of the right calibre who is both motivated and ambitious.
Every support and resource will be provided to the successful individual, not only from the existing Family Team, with whom the new recruit will be working closely, but also from the whole Bristol office and wider partnership.
