Highly respected City firm with an excellent reputation for it's Planning Team is seeking a mid level Associate to join in their success in providing advice to private and public sector clients.
The structure of the department will offer you the chance to work on a wide variety of planning matters including in particular, advising developers on the planning and compulsory purchase aspects of mixed use schemes and large projects in London and elsewhere.
WHAT:
Advising on development schemes for clients such as Land Securities, Westfield, Standard Life, Costco, Capital Shopping Centres, Hammerson and SEGRO will form part of this role as will advising regeneration and development companies on applications, appeals and public enquiries and working on major CPO and compensation claims, acting for the developers at St. David's in Cardiff, for Union Rail, Kings Cross and for London and Continental Railways.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of preparation and negotiation of Section 106 and 278 agreements and to undertake environmental assessment work. You will have a strong academic record and have worked with reputable departments to date.
