Regulatory Solicitor / Legal Executive - Northampton  - Competitive Salary and benefits package

On behalf of a very well respected Legal 500 Law Firm, Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently recruiting a Civil Litigation Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE or a FILEX equivalent to join our client's team based in Northampton.

This is a first class opportunity to join a highly regarded and successful team within the legal profession and in the H&S world.

The successful applicant will have experience of handling personal injury litigation, including public liability, employer's liability, product liability and road traffic cases and non PI liability claims as well as experience of running own caseload of fast/multi-track pre and post litigated cases, including negotiation and settlement of damages and settlement of costs,

Essential Attributes:

• Minimum of 1 year PQE or FILEX equivalent experience
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Proven track record of working towards, and achieving, financial/other targets
• Background in defendant litigation  
• Experience of  Court hearings, DJ appointments/CMCs
• Ability to build relationships with clients and potential clients
• Good communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision

Experience of working for local authority clients/utility companies and with / for insurers, Magistrates Court procedure / motor prosecutions / defence would also be advantageous.
