PLANNING SOLICITOR - LONDON CITY
Fantastic opportunity for 4 yr+ Planning Solicitor to join planning team working on some of the largest and most complex planning projects in the country. The core practice offers high-level, strategic advice on major planning applications and infrastructure projects. We work as part of our clients' development teams and establish a close working relationship through involvement at the earliest stages of development proposals.
Our specialist practitioners also draw on broad expertise in related practice areas to ensure that clients are given commercial, practical and well-rounded advice in a seamless style. Our aim is to be always at the forefront of new developments in planning law, policy and practice.
Experience Requirements
· Candidates will have gained 4+ years post qualification experience within the planning practice of a top tier firm. We will consider candidates with less or more than the required level of experience provided they can demonstrate their suitability.
· Academic excellence is essential. We would always expect a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and solicitors' examinations passed first time. All applications should include full academic details including grades, subjects and transcripts where appropriate.
· Previous experience of planning and regeneration work in the London market is essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong commercial application gained from work in the private sector.
· Good drafting skills and a strong understanding of the commercial implications of planning work, together with a proven ability to deal with clients will be expected of candidates.
