Successfully plan your future. Are you looking to take a lead position? Excellent opportunity to take a head role in a well established and profitable Planning department.
You will cover all aspects of planning including advice on applications, handling appeals, dealing with enforcement, negotiating planning agreements and obligations, and also local plan work. In addition, you will cover property development including joint ventures and options.
You will also deal with Environmental Law including Contaminated Land as well as dealing with Waste Management Licensing and other regulatory matters.
The team's client base ranges from PLCs and large OMBs to local authorities, major landowners and private individuals
The team currently comprises two partners and two assistants and a consultant. The vacancy arises due to impending retirement of the current Head. You will be required to assume team leader responsibilites over the next 12-18 months and gradually take over and secure the current Head's clients and contacts prior to his retirement.
You will be heavily involved in managing client relationships as well as winning new work through marketing initiatives (eg seminars, articles, industry bodies, etc).
The firm as a whole is going from strength to strength with impressive plans for future growth and development.
