Our client, a reputable firm, with several offices throughout the south currently have an exciting job opportunity for a Solicitor or Barrister to join their Planning team based in Bristol. A suitable candidate will have good experience dealing with a wide range of Planning law. The purpose of the role is to support and participate in the successful growth of our clients highly rated and integrated commercial property team. The specific role of this candidate will be to support the planning requirement of the Commercial Property and Construction teams, and to develop a recognised planning practice. The successful candidate will have a following and proven ability to develop a planning practice. Your key responsibilities will be to: 1.Provide strategic planning advice. 2.Keep team/clients updated on legal developments. 3.Negotiate and amend Section 106 and other Planning Agreements. 4.Advise on planning applications, refusals and appeals. 5.Advise on Environmental law. 6.Provide guidance on Local Authority social housing requirements. 7.Advise on Enforcement Notices and Appeals.
