The Client: This highly regarded firm has a reputation for punching above their weight in the Midlands market and are now looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and commercially astute lawyer to join their expanding Employment team. Individual development is very important to the firm; they understand how helping their staff achieve the best results for themselves and the client leads to improving and maintaining a high level of morale. This results in increased team work across departments and therefore increased profit margins. The Role: The successful candidate will be managing a mixed caseload of primarily respondent work alongside Partner and 2 other lawyers. The majority of work comes through firm's existing and extensive commercial client base, but this has yet to be fully exploited particularly with regards to non-contentious work. You will be keen to assist in the future marketing of the department at the same time as ensuring existing clients are provided with a full and extremely high quality service. We are looking for a committed candidate who grasps opportunities and can envisage the long term - there are excellent opportunities to progress through the firm as this is a succession planning appointment.
