We have a great opportunity to join one of the leading employment teams in Wales. Attached to this role is a generous benefits package and relocation allowance for those further afield.
The role will consist of non-contentious employment work (including corporate support, advice on TUPE transfers and company restructures / redundancies) but there will be plenty of other work such as advice on day-to-day matters and Tribunal work too. There is also the opportunity to work within our Swansea team on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law work, including Employment Tribunals, re-organisations and redundancies, TUPE, discrimination, unfair/wrongful dismissal and disciplinary and grievance.
With over 450 people in offices in South Wales, Bristol and the Thames Valley, Morgan Cole is an innovative firm with ambitious plans for the future. The employment team is a particular success story and is rated as one of the top two in Wales.
Successful candidates for either role are likely to have come from a recognised employment team, preferably with an employer/respondent client focus. These roles attract a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including a relocation allowance and excellent career prospects.
Due to sustained growth and some significant client wins, Morgan Cole’s employment team is seeking two employment lawyers to join the South Wales team, to be based in Cardiff and Swansea.
We’re looking for employment lawyers, potentially at associate level, to work with a high degree of independence with our varied caseload:
The emphasis in Cardiff will be more on non-contentious employment work (including corporate support, advice on TUPE transfers and company restructures/redundancies) but there will be plenty of other work such as advice on day-to-day matters and Tribunal work too. There is also the opportunity to work within our Swansea team on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law work, including Employment Tribunals, re-organisations and redundancies, TUPE, discrimination, unfair/wrongful dismissal and disciplinary and grievance issues. These roles will also offer the chance to be involved in the team’s highly-regarded client training programme.
The successful candidates will have a great opportunity to supervise and develop more junior members of the team, as well as participating in business development, client training and marketing initiatives.
