Our client, one of the most popular law firms in this region, has built its enviable reputation through an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards. Whether in relation to their clients or their staff they promote a culture of exceptional care, which has seen them successfully attract and retain the best in both areas.
8 Partners strong they provide a comprehensive range of legal services to both private individuals and businesses. Renowned for punching above their weight commercially their commercial clients range from successful local SME's to an ever-expanding plc client list which now spans far beyond their traditional North Yorkshire heartland.
In response to client demand they launched their dedicated Employment Law Team 2 years ago and now advise private and public sector clients on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters.
An exciting opportunity now exists within the team as the Head of Department looks to bring on board a 2i/c to work closely with him as he takes the team through the next phase of development. Ideally with twelve months PQE under your belt you'll reap the rewards of working alongside a leading light in this field and a lawyer for their training and mentoring skills.
Part of a firm that actively promotes structured but early responsibility you'll gain hands on exposure to your own client base. You'll be encouraged to form direct links as you advise on a full caseload including;
·Unfair & Wrong Dismissal
·Sex, Race, Age and Disability related discrimination
·Breach of Contract
·Redundancy & related matters
·Disciplinary and dismissal procedures
·Transaction related issues
In addition to fee earning you'll play a full role in marketing and business development as you build your case for the partnership position that is very part of the plan with this role.
With a strong rewards package to match the quality of work, prospects and environment on offer this is most definitely one not to miss.
