A fantastic opportunity for a 2-3yrs PQE Solicitor with an Employment Law background has arisen at an excellent firm in Newcastle. Salary up to £35k.
The Client: Our Client is a reputable firm established in the mid 1990's, since then they have been servicing the needs of trade unions, their members and the general public. Throughout the North West of England our client has many offices to cater the growing needs of their clients.
The Role: Successful candidates must have worked within a similar role and have good Advocacy skills in order to succeed in this role. The candidate will be joining an Employment department currently consisting of 6 fee earners and will be expected to assist in coping with an increased volume of work provided by unions. The successful applicant will have secretarial support and will be able to manage their own caseload, sometimes having to cover away from the Newcastle base extending out to Sunderland and Durham. The candidate must be prepared to handle their own files from start to finish and perform any advocacy that is required themselves.
Candidates are expected to have 2-3 yrs PQE experience within Employment law and be able to work successfully as part of a team.
