A skilled and productive Solicitor with good knowledge of Employment law is currently required for a Newcastle law firm. Salary up to £50k.
The Client: Our client is a leading law firm that has been successfully established for nearly 200 years and currently operates from three successful offices. They are a progressive and developing firm who continues to grow in strength and depth to ensure that they provide the best possible service to all their clients.
The Role: Our client is seeking qualified Solicitors with Employment law experience for the department to help advise clients on Employment law issues, manage a portfolio of cases, promote the department and provide direct assistance to the Partner. Candidates will be advising on disciplinary and grievance matters to commercial clients on a daily basis, in addition to handling Tribunal claims, drafting pleadings and conducting Advocacy at hearings. The successful candidate must be able to work and deal with client matters with little or no supervision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record covering both contentious and non-contentious matters, gained with a well-established practice.
