A Solicitor/Trainee Solicitor with an Employment law background is currently required for a busy Newcastle firm. Salary up to £30k.
The Client: Our Client is a reputable firm established in the mid 1990's, since then they have been servicing the needs of trade unions, their members and the general public. Throughout the North West of England our client has many offices to cater the growing needs of their clients.
The Role: Applications are welcomed from recently qualified Solicitors (less than 2 year PQE) or a trainee who will qualify no later than March 2008, preferably with some experience of Employment law. Applicants must have an interest in Employment law and be willing to undertake Advocacy at Employment Tribunal Hearings. The successful candidate will be required to manage their own caseload with supervision and undertake work on behalf of union clients of the firm and therefore a good and thorough service must be provided. Candidates must be IT literate and have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
