Our client is one of the UK’s leading Employment Law Consultancies providing employment law and health and safety advice and assistance to businesses throughout the UK.
An opportunity has recently arisen for an Employment Tribunal Advocate to manage Tribunals in the Northern region which includes Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Scotland and Newcastle.
The role involves acting on behalf of the companies’ commercial clients including advising on employment issues, drafting ET3’s, negotiating settlements and attending tribunals. The role also includes acting as adviser to the company.
The successful individual for this role will have a proven track record of conducting hearings at the Employment Tribunal and will have experience in relation to matters raised at the EAT. Strong negotiation skills are essential as are a flexible approach to work and the ability to work well autonomously as well as in a team.
The role is based from home with secretarial support provided by the firm’s head office.
Excellent salary and benefits package including £41,000 (with pay review following successful completion of probationary period), company car or car allowance, 5 weeks holidays plus bank holidays, private healthcare after 1 years service and provision of home based office equipment including laptop, printer, fax, scanner, mobile phone and IPAQ.
