PART TIME EMPLOYMENT PRIVATE SUPPORT LAWYER - LONDON CITY

Leading full service 4 office City law firm with a strong reputation for quality and innovation seeks part-time Employment PSL 3 + PQE to cover a full range of employment work for a mixture of firms and standalone clients. The work is a mix of High Court Litigation, tribunal work, Corporate Support, policy and strategic planning, drafting and provision of day-to-day advice. Will be supporting Employment Teams in both London and Reading offices and involves working with a small team of employment PSLs and a wider team of PSLs across the firm. This role would suit a
solicitor who is currently fee-earning and who would like to switch to a PSL position or an existing
PSL. Preferably working out of our London office, we would consider Reading based candidates.
We anticipate that this role will be three days a week, preferably Wednesday to Friday. The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide range of knowledge management work for the Employment Team including assisting with drafting and revamping precedents, monitoring developments in employment law, assisting with preparing internal updates, with raining programmes, coordinating and promoting knowledge within the firm, business development, helping with intranet databases and involvement in firm-wide issues, involving professional support and possibly regulatory matters. Must have 3 yrs PQE in employment law with solid experience at a leading practice and with an academic record, excellent practical drafting skills, a good level it IT and internet literacy and be a driven, enthusiastic and flexible team player.
