EMPLOYEE BENEFITS/FUNDS/TAX SOLICITOR - LONDON CITY
A rare opportunity has arisen for a lawyer 5 + PQE to join the 'Funds, Investments, Tax and Trusts' group within this leading international firm's Wealth Planning department.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
· Deliver high quality legal services
· Manage clients' affairs effectively and profitably through delivery and finance of own case load
· Advise on employment related tax issues
· Advise Private Equity and Hedge Fund managers in relation to their fund participation
· Help to create tax efficient fund structures and advising generally in relation to tax issues affecting funds
· Review Fund prospectuses from a Tax perspective
· Work effectively with other legal staff and Principals across Departments
· Develop and share personal expertise and know-how
Skills and Experience required We are looking for a candidate with expertise in relation to employment and funds taxation who would enjoy applying these skills in a private client context (such as an international family creating a bespoke investment platform to suit the commercial and tax needs of the family). Private client skills are not necessarily essential but would certainly be helpful.
