This excellent opportunity to join a thriving Legal 500 practice in an excellent location with strong links to London involves accompanying the Partner and/or the Assistant Solicitor in the team at client meetings; performing routine tasks as delegated and providing general administrative support in compliance with quality procedures. You will be participating in tribunal work; organising files and preparing lists of documents, undertaking research as required; reading up on case law and providing legislative updates plus producing one’s own correspondence and drafting documentation. A strong opportunity to develop your client facing skills as you will be liaising with clients and the other side’s solicitors; giving basic advice/updates and building a rapport with all parties. This role will get you involved in business development from day 1 providing input into business development activities including attendance at networking events,in house seminars and preparing seminar materials and articles for publication. For this role you will have trained in either a city or leading regional practice, strong academics and have recently been admitted as a Solicitor with the right to work in the UK.
