Super opening for an employment assistant looking for excellent prospects, a high profile caseload and genuine client contact.
My client is a leading national practice with a strong East Midlands office providing highly rated employment law advice. The employment team provides a comprehensive national employment service and is deemed a 'true expert.'
Acting for a range of clients from SMEs to major national companies covering both the public and private sector, you will develop your employment expertise by working closely with a dedicated team of employment specialists. You will typically handle matters including:
Unfair dismissal claims
Changes to terms and conditions of employment
Discrimination
Employment contracts, policies and procedures
Grievance and disciplinary issues
Managing sickness absence
Misconduct issues
Performance management
Redundancy
Severance issues / Compromise agreements
TUPE
With 2 years experience, you will be presently handling a mixed caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters and be looking to develop your knowledge. You will be a key appointment in the growth of the team and also be eager to get involved in marketing and business development.
