A Legal 200 commercial firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor / Associate with 4 + years PQE.

You will be joining a "top tier" department of 11 fee earners providing advice to a wide range of clients on all aspects of employment law.

The firm’s solicitors undertake their own advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and also provide tailored employment law seminars and practical workshops to clients throughout the year.

The firm is looking for evidence of appropriate practical experience gained at a firm with a first-class reputation for employment work. It is essential to be a team player in order to fit within this well-established, friendly team. You will be responsible for a split caseload of contentious and non contentious work, advising clients on the impact of new legislation and other employment law issues, as well as attending Employment Tribunal and High Court hearings.

Candidates must have excellent communication and presentation skills, a confident manner, possess a hardworking and flexible approach, and be able to work to tight deadlines and targets. Proven ability in generating fee income and demonstrating commercial awareness are both essential. Good marketing skills and possessing a referral network are both desirable.
