Our client is one of Hampshire's leading law firms with several offices based in the South of England. As well as providing a full legal service for the private client, including divorce and family matters, conveyancing, wills and probate, and trust and tax planning, the firm also has one of the largest dedicated commercial and corporate departments in the area and can count some of the region's major businesses amongst its client base. Our client is also widely recognised as being at the forefront of personal injury compensation claims.
Our client has an exciting job opportunity for a Solicitor who would enjoy the variety of having their own PI caseload, whilst assisting a Partner with regulatory work which includes health and safety, road transport and environmental work.
A suitable candidate will: -
* have broad experience of RTA, Employer's Liability and Public Liability and a high level of technical expertise
* have a good knowledge of the litigation process, being capable of running litigated
files, using own initiative and working with minimum supervision
* have good IT skills (a case management system is used)
* have excellent client handling skills
In addition to the skills and experience identified above, candidates must:
* have strong advocacy skills
* have experience in Court
* have at least two years recent relevant experience
* be capable of working on a broad spectrum of matters and be sufficiently adaptable
to enjoy the variety and demands that this brings
