Our client is a UK-based Top 100 international firm with a strong reputation for being one of the best of the large law firms at which to work.
They are currently looking for a pensions lawyer who is NQ/one-year post-qualified to join their London pensions group. This is a mixed contentious and non-contentious role.
This group is one of the strongest pensions teams in the UK with around 45 highly skilled lawyers, paralegals and independent trustee administrators. Legal directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers consistently rate them as a leading pensions firm in the UK. With 11 partners and no fewer than 13 leaders in the field of pensions, no-one has more expertise available.
Among their clients are large global corporations, pension fund trustees, public authorities, insurance companies and other financial institutions. It is essential that candidates are comfortable with working in a co-operative team environment.
Associates and solicitors within the group are generally allocated to various clients supervised by one of the pensions partners; therefore, it will be usual for lawyers to work for a number of the pensions partners. This provides a wider variety of work and experience and leads to a mutually supportive atmosphere in the pensions group.
