Our client, a regional law firm, currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Solicitor to join their Employment team based in Cardiff.
This role is initially a 50/50 mix of training and fee-earning but could quickly develop into more of a training bias in time. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in training on a wide range of Employment issues to clients and these skills will be tested as part of the selection process.
This role requires working with clients handling presentations on employment matters to their managers/directors etc. These presentations can be in various locations so travel to other regions is required. The training can last a few days so the successful candidate may have to stay away from home for a few nights on occasion.
A suitable candidate will have: -
Excellent presentation and client relationship skills.
Excellent knowledge of the law.
The ability to hold their own when challenged.
Quick thinking on their feet for Q & A sessions etc.
