Solicitor - Employment
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £60,000
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a Top 500 rated legal firm. You will work within a team advising public and private sector employers on human resource issues from daily personnel matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, to strategic management issues such as redundancy programmes, industrial action, and wrongful dismissal claims
Responsibilities:
Responsible for a caseload of non contentious work along with some contentious issues, dealing with complex and challenging issues for a variety of large well known private sector clients
Handling issues relating to corporate transactions, including advising on policies, contracts of employment, employee liabilities, TUPE (outsourcing and in sourcing) and due diligence
You will be conducting training and briefing sessions for clients relating to impact of new legislation and other employment law issues
Skills:
2 - 4 years post qualification experience within employment law.
Good exposure to a wide range of non-contentious issues including corporate support work, Boardroom matters and corporate governance issues
You will be an independent thinker, confident communicator with an ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels and an enthusiastic team player with flexible approach and developed leadership skills
