EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR - AVON
We are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our expanding Employment team based in Avon. The right candidate will undertake a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious work on behalf of a varied client base. Experience in dealing with corporate support work; Experience in dealing with a range of tribunal litigation, including various types of discrimination.
Main Duties are to provide corporate support particularly in respect of acquisition work; To advise our clients in respect of employment issues involved in sale/purchase of companies as well as undertaking due diligence and negotiating and amending the relevant sections of the sale/purchase agreement; To advise respondent clients in respect of employment and HR issues as well as undertaking tribunal litigation for a mixture of Claimants and Respondents.
Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively with executives, directors and our own Corporate department in respect of acquisition work; Keen to succeed for themselves and our clients; Task-orientated;
Good organisational skills; Ability to work to deadlines; Ability to remain calm under pressure;
Must have a keen interest in pursuing corporate work.
