Job Description

You will inherit your own high quality but varied caseload and will work closely with the partners and other team members. The work is split evenly as follows: · advising on unfair dismissal and discrimination tribunal claims · helping employers manage issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies · providing employment law support in corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training. All team members are encouraged to assist in marketing and know how activities.

Candidates will have at least 2 years experience as a qualified solicitor in employment law. Candidates should enjoy working in a team-based environment, have strong client handling skills and be able to instil client confidence, have an enthusiasm for employment law but the ability to give evidence in a commercial context, have a strong academic background and ideally come from a city or large regional law firm with well recognised employment expertise with experience of advising large (1000 employees plus) private sector employers.
