My client, a leading UK business law firmand one of the fastest growing are looking to recruit an Employment Partner. They are looking to further supplement our Employment practice with a strategic hire of an experienced lateral hire in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer, looking for the next step in their partnership careers, to join the team in a pivotal stage in its development.
Their Employment practice already has a great reputation, both locally and nationally, and as a result undertakes a wide spectrum of both contentious and non contentious work for a variety of household national names in the retail, service and charities sector, as well as some high profile clients based in the regions. The majority of their work is respondent based and their lawyers and paralegals take on much of their own advocacy. Corporate support work features high on our agenda and the Employment team are developing excellent links with our Corporate Finance and Commercial teams to develop this strand of work.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in both contentious and non contentious work and ideally have undertaken their own advocacy. They will be committed to building their profile both across the firm and the local market, and have an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial attitude. A following and/or contacts is desirable but not essential.
