EMPLOYMENT LAWYER - AVON A successful Employment team require an Employment Lawyer for their department in Bristol. You will have a good academic record, together with typically 5 + years post qualification experience within employment law. Experience will be gained within a strong commercial practice and encompass good exposure to a wide range of non-contentious issues. International experience would be desirable but is not essential. You will be responsible for a caseload of non contentious work along with some contentious issues, dealing with complex and challenging issues for a variety of large well known private sector clients. You will be handling issues relating to corporate transactions, including advising on policies, contracts of employment, employee liabilities, TUPE (outsourcing and in sourcing) and due diligence. This role will also involve conducting training and briefing sessions for clients relating to impact of new legislation and other employment law issues. You will need to take responsibility for the informal supervision and coaching of less experienced members of the team when required.
