Employment Solicitor-Associate level-£50k-£60k-East Sussex
Our client has a great job opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to lead a team in a well respected regional law firm with a reputation of dealing with a quality client base.
They are looking for an Employment lawyer with at least 4 years recent relevant experience to come in at Associate level.
The individual will be working closely with the Head of Department, the job-holder will be part of the employment team advising a predominantly corporate client base on a wide range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Play a leading role in departmental and firm wide business development and marketing initiatives, activities and events
Responsible for creation and development of client relationships
Providing advice and assistance, by letter and telephone, to a predominantly employer client base on a range of complex employment matters
Drafting contracts, agreements, policies and procedures
Providing corporate support and advising on all employment related issues connected with mergers, acquisitions, contracting out and the effect of TUPE
Preparation of Tribunal cases and providing representation at the hearing, where appropriate
Preparation of seminars and workshops and presenting at such events
Providing in-house training for clients
The ideal candidate will have gained experience at a leading City or regional law firm and will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and a track record of winning business and getting involved with marketing the division and the company.
