A new opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join this busy team in Birmingham. This has arisen due to an upturn in instructions and it is expected that the successful candidate will play a key role in the continued development of the department. Ideally you will be an assistant solicitor working for a large regional or national commercial practice and have both contentious and non-contentious experience acting for respondents. Day to day you will be undertaking: *Drafting all levels of contracts, policies and procedures *Disciplinaries and grievances *Tribunal claims of all types *Business protection measures *Information and consultation *Unions and industrial relations *Commercial immigration *Restructures and TUPE. It is essential that you are a team player with a passion for employment law. The ability to win new business is also desirable. Excellent salary and benefits package on offer.
