IN-HOUSE EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR - BEDFORDSHIRE

Employment Solicitor sought for a national in-house company, applicants must have 3 years PQE in this field.

You will be working together with the Head of HR & Legal, to provide employment law advice and assistance.

You will provide comprehensive and timely advice and assistance to member companies/clients on all matters pertaining to employment law and employee relations either by visits, telephone or in writing.

Applicants must have tribunal experience;

- Representing members/clients in litigation concerning employment, ie before Employment Tribunals, EAT and, where appropriate, County Court
- To draft or scrutinise contracts of employment, policies, procedures and other employment related documents
- To give advice via the Enquiry Desk as and when required
- To assist in the training and development of staff in respect of employment law issues
- To prepare and present lectures/talks on employment law and employee relations issues to member companies/clients in seminars and on other occasions
- To maintain a high standard of professional knowledge and expertise by appropriate research, scrutiny of published information and training.
