This is one of those jobs where in an ideal world the firm is looking for the ideal person with the ideal experience, but you might just get your foot through the door as the ideal person without the ideal experience!!
This is a major top 50 law firm which acts on behalf of a wide range of NHS clients, providing advisory support and representation on a miriad of areas including, but not limited to, employment, property, projects, inquests, compliance, ethics, regulatory matters, professional negligence and contractual issues.
They are looking for 2 solcitors to join the team, one in Manchester, one in Liverpool, who have the intellectual clout and experience to advise on most of these areas, although property work and projects work tend to be covered by specialsits in those areas.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academics, a quick mind and a polished professional demeanor, be articulate and confident, and have some experience of advising public bodies on a range of matters which require legal input. The perfect candidate will have been in a general advisory role to the NHS, but the firm recognises that it is unlikely that such a person will be in the market!
You will probably have something in the region of 2 or 3 years' PQE but for the right candidate the firm will look from newly qualified to 5 years.
