Our client seeks an Education Employment Lawyer to provide legal advice and assistance in support of the Education Sector Plan and particularly the Education Employment sub-plan.
Skills & Experience:
· Admitted Solicitor or Barrister with current Practising Certificate specialising in employment law
· Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work to the SRA Skills Standards and to provide accurate, focussed advice to clients
· 1 2 years PQE of employer focussed employment law practice
Responsibilities:
· Develop strong client relationships with schools and other education institutions, including independent schools
· Advise clients
· Communicate concisely both verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients
· Draft documents that are clear and accurate
· Ability to manage own caseload and time management
· Conduct negotiations where appropriate
· Contribute to the firms business development activities
