Film Production Associate Solicitor-London-£80k+
Our client is a major International law firm with a specialist team of Lawyers dealing with the Film Industry.
They have a vacancy for a Film Production Solicitor to get involved with optimising co-production arrangements to maximise access to subsidies and incentives. You will be dealing with on-demand licensing, interactive formats and digital and mobile distribution across digital media.
Other key aspects of the job will include the full range of production arrangements and contracts including rights acquisitions, talent contracts, location contracts and clearances, film rights and their exploitation.
All the commercial and intellectual property issues that accompany the branding of merchandising such as copyright, distribution agreements, licensing and trade marks.
You will have to check on the EU and national regulations on marketing and distribution rights, competition investigations, complaints and merger proceedings.
The ideal candidate will have at least six years recent relevant experience of working in the film industry.
