The UK's Counsel's role will be to:
You will be a qualified lawyer preferably in the entertainment and/or media industry; have excellent drafting and negotiation skills; proactive problem solving; ability to juggle competitive priorities; ability to work in an international business environment; experience in traditional and new media formats, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines. You must be detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills and have the confidence and drive to work independently and within a dynamic team.
FX is a top 20 cable & satellite channel that has enjoyed 20%+ growth for the past three years, exclusively airing shows such as The Wire, Dexter and Breaking Bad. It is part of Fox International Channels, one of the world's largest international Pay TV broadcasting groups. The UK office houses the global acquisitions group, who purchase and develop content for Fox brands all over the globe. The successful candidate will be actively working with this part of the business and run from the UK,the global development of all NGC and Fox websites, which they are developing into standalone entertainment portals.
