A large commercial West Yorkshire practice seek a secured recoveries specialist to assist the Team Leader in managing a high volume caseload of mortgage arrears instructions from a number of lenders, collecting payment of arrears and, if necessary, issuing and conducting legal proceedings resulting in payment or repossession of property. The role may, in time, involve court appearances on behalf of a client and also contacting debtors by telephone. The successful candidate will have experience of working in mortgage arrears, proven skills in a volume environment, an understanding of the County Court System (and primarily "mortgage repossession actions") advantageous, some understanding of the legal environment, a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent (grades A - C), competent use of MS Word and Excel, experience of a case management system an advantage but not essential
